April showers ....

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend, and enjoyed time spent with your family and friends.

Grade 1 Homework:
*Read a book each night.
*Practice spelling words for test on Friday (may, long, called, most, much, cow, brown, now, cloud, proud).
*Finish homework duotang by Friday.

Upcoming Events:
*April 27: Ms. Guptill's dance group for K-2 begins at 2:00
*April 29: Assembly at 1:20pm
*May 6: Subject Council (no school for students)

April showers bring....

• We say a sad good-bye to Mrs. GG, but wish her well as she gets ready for her baby to arrive; and a happy hello to Ms. Guptill who will replace her until the end of the year.


• Grade One Homework:

• *Study spelling words for test on Friday: more, time, first, been, these, Saturday, Thursday, girl, river, water


• Elementary Drama:


• *Practice Wednesday from 3-4:30. This is the last practice!


• *Dress rehearsal will be on Monday, April 18th at 3pm, and we will perform that night at 6:30pm.


• Upcoming Events:


• *April 11-21: Science East will be set up in the library


• *April 15: Show and Tell


• *April 22: Good Friday (no school for students)


• *April 25: Easter Monday (no school for students)


• *April 29: Assembly at 1:20pm

Report Card Time!

• Report cards will go home tomorrow (Tuesday). Please sign the envelope and the slip about parent-teacher interviews and return them to school ASAP. Everything else that is in the envelope you may keep at home.


• Parent-Teacher Interviews will be on Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday morning from 9-11am. A sign-up sheet is posted outside each classroom door to help keep things moving along. I look forward to meeting with you!
