December is almost here!

Grade 2 Homework:
*Read a book each night and record in reading log.
*Practice spelling words for test on Friday (good, have, read, any, did, or, too, Tuesday, woke, spoke).
*Finish homework duotang by Friday.

Elementary Drama will be performing our play "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" on December 7th at 6pm in the Great Hall. Admission is a donation.

Pink Week activities (try to wear pink each day):
*Monday: Hubba Bubba Day (pink gum)
*Tuesday: Pink Pinkies
*Wednesday: Pink Peppermint Day, Pink Lemonade on Sale (50 cents), Pink Dance (K-2 from 6-7pm, 3-5 from 7-8pm)
*Thursday: Positive Pink Post Its, K-2 Curriculum Night 6-7pm
*Friday: Pink T-Shirt Day and Positive Pink Assembly at 1pm

*Practice spelling words for test on Friday (keep, away, ran, can't, on, this, if, Monday, rake, Drake)
*Finish homework duotang by Friday.

Report Card Week!

Report cards will be coming home today. Please sign and return the envelope and the slip about parent-teacher interviews. Everything else is yours to keep.

Parent-Teacher interviews will be on Thursday evening from 6-8pm and Friday morning from 9-11am. You normally just need an appointment with your math and communication teacher, unless there is a behavioral issue you need to discuss with the homeroom teacher.

Lest we Forget

There will be no school on Friday, November 11th for Remembrance Day. Everyone is welcome to come to the service at 10:30am.

On Thursday afternoon, we will have also have a service at the school at 1pm for the students.

Report cards will go home next week, and parent-teacher interviews will be on Thursday evening (November 17th) and Friday morning (November 18th).

Show and Tell for this month will be on November 17th.
