Pink Week!
Homework:
*Practice sounds and tricky words every night: be, was
*Bring Library book back by Monday.
*Read the book brought home one day this week. After the child reads the book, please record the date and title in their reading log, and send everything back the next day.
Upcoming Events:
*Pink Week November 23rd-26th.
*Report Cards go home on November 25th and Pink Dance from 6-6:45pm.
*Show and Tell on November 26th at 12:30pm and K-2 Assembly at 1:20pm. Pink Assembly from 10:15-11:30 with guest Ryan Laird.
*Parent-Teacher Interviews on November 26th from 6-8pm and November 27th from 9-11am. PD in the afternoon of November 27th, so no school for students.
*Book orders due November 30th. Last ones before Christmas.
*Elementary Drama presents "Santa's Workshop" on December 3rd at 6pm for the public (admission: a donation to the food bank) and December 4th at 9am for K-5 students.
*December 4th is Blue and Gold Day.
*Toque Day on December 8th.
*Christmas Sweater Day on December 9th.
*Frosty the Snowman Day (Wear White) on December 11th.
*Grade 2 presents The Living Nativity on December 11th from 6:30-8:30pm. Cost $5
*Community Christmas Parade on December 12th at 6pm.
*Pajama Day and Deck Your Door on December 14th.
*Red and Green Day on December 15th.
*K-12 Christmas Concert on December 15th at 6:30pm. Snowdate will be on the 16th.
*Santa Hat Day on December 16th.

*K-5 Christmas Shop on December 15th (put on by the leadership class)

Mill Rats
Thank you to the Mill Rats for visiting our school today! We had a K-12 Assembly this afternoon, and then the Mill Rats put on two camps, grades K-6 and grades 7-12.

Healthy Eating, Fall Fishing and Remembrance Day!
A reminder that there is no school on Wednesday because of Remembrance Day, but we would love to see you at the Remembrance Day service at 10:30am.
Today we had a presentation on healthy eating by Hallie Bass. Thank you so much for sharing with our students. Keep eating lots of fruits and vegetables!
