November Events:

*Jack's Birthday on Nov. 28th
*Book Orders due on November 29th.
*Gingerbread Family Workshop at the Library on Nov. 30th at 6pm
 
December Events:
*Writing Celebration on December 1st at 1:20pm. Parents/grandparents are welcome to come! Each student will select a piece of reading to read to us as we celebrate all that they are learning.
*Blue and Gold Day on December 2nd.
*Pajama Day on December 5th.
*Christmas Sock Day on December 7th.
*Elementary Drama Club presents "The Littlest Christmas Tree" on December 8th at 6pm. Admission is a donation. Following the play, the Library will be having their Christmas program.
*Noah's birthday on December 9th.
*Drama presents our play again at 9am on December 9th, and it is also Frosty/White Day. This will also be Ms. Ells' last day in our class.
*Dinner and a Movie and Santa Claus Parade on December 10th at 6pm.
*Green Day on December 12th.
*Toque Day on December 13th, and our Christmas Concert at 6:30pm. Please be in the classroom by 6:15 at the latest. Students should dress up or wear Christmas colors.
*Christmas Sweater Day on December 14th (and snow date for the concert).
*Reindeer Day on December 16th.
*Red Day on December 19th.
*Elf Day and Christmas Shop on December 20th (bring $4 - students will get to buy a gift for their mom and dad and have it wrapped to bring home and put under the tree).
*Santa Hat Day on December 21st.
*Breakfast with Santa (around 9:30am) and BYOMug for Hot Chocolate and a Christmas movie in the afternoon.
*K-2 Skating and hot chocolate at the rink from 5:30-6:30 on December 22nd. Please bring a parent, helmet and skates.
*Show and Tell on December 23rd. This is only a half day of school.
*Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!
*Students come back to school on January 10th (January 9th is a teacher Professional Learning Day).

Pink Week Fun!


We have had a wonderful Pink Week! We have been learning how to be better friends, how to treat people the way we want to be treated, and how to deal with bullying. We also have enjoyed some PINK treats - pink nail polish on our pinkies, pink peppermints, pink bubble gum, pink cupcakes, pink balloons, and pink sunglasses! Thanks Student Council!
