Countdown is on to Day 100!
Kindergarten Homework:
*Read a book each night and record in Reading Log.
*Read words in the "Word Box" (baggie) and return.
*Practice tricky words: so, my, love
*Return library book by Monday
Upcoming Events:
*Brendan's Birthday on February 4th.
*Pink/Red Day on February 14th and Valentines Party (send valentine cards for everyone in the class please, and a snack if you wish0.
*Day 100 on February 16th (if we don't miss any school)
*Writing Celebration on February 23rd at 1:35pm.
*Sophie's Birthday on February 24th.
*Professional Learning Day on February 24th (so no school for students)
*March Break is March 6-10
*Green Day on March 17th
*TNB (Theatre New Brunswick) is here on March 28: "The Princess who Saved Herself".
*Parent-Teacher Interviews in the evening of March 30 (6-8pm)

Shark Week
Kindergarten Homework:
*Read a book each night and record in Reading Log.

*Return library book by Monday
(We are done learning all of the sounds, so the red sounds duotangs can stay home. Keep practicing the sounds in the half scribblers at least once or twice a week until you are confident that your child knows all of the sounds).

*Greenland Shark Day on January 16th (wear green)
*Salmon Shark Day on January 17th (wear pink/salmon)
*Blue Shark Day on January 18th (wear blue)
*Dance on January 18th from 6-6:45pm.
*Tiger Shark Day on January 19th (wear orange and black)
*Book Orders due on January 19th
*Drama Try-Outs on January 19th at 2:10pm
*Zebra Shark Day on January 20th (wear black and white)
*GMCS Cinema presents "Trolls" at 7pm on January 20th (cost $5)
