Thanks to the students from UNBSJ who brought us "Let's Talk Science" today. All classes, from kindergarten to grade 12, had a hands-on science session today.

Dinosaur Song

Here is a video of your class reading the pages they were in charge of drawing pictures for. This is actually the song we are singing in the music festival, we just turned it into a book! Enjoy :)

Cheers,

Spring is Here!

Kindergarten Homework:
*Read a book each night and record in Reading Log.
*Practice tricky words: little, down, on
*Bring Library Book back by Monday.

*This week we are starting the next thing in the Jolly Phonics program: Homework Writing Books. Students will be bringing home their campfire notebook and a pink card of words. Please read the words to the student, and he or she tries to sound out the word and write them down in their notebooks (all of the sounds are ones that we have learned). Send it back to be checked, and a new list will be sent home. It is okay to help your child correct the sounds - we want this to be a learning experience and for the students to get better at hearing the sounds in words and writing down the correct letters to go with the sounds.
