I hope everyone had a great March Break! Welcome back to school, and hopefully to regular routines and bedtimes!
Here is a presentation about colors that we made to send to L'Ecole L'Etincelle, our partner school on Miscou Island.
Homework for this week:
K: *Finish homework duotang and game by Friday.
*Read a book each night and practice tricky words and sounds. You guys are doing great!
*We started homework writing books this week, where instead of sounding out the words to read them, the parent says the word (slowly) and the child writes down the sounds he/she hears.
1: *Finish homework duotang by Friday (we have finished all the games).
*Spelling test on Friday.
*Keep practicing doubles and magic numbers.
*Read a book each night (or a chapter).
Upcoming Events:
*Book orders due Wednesday, March 11th.
*Show and tell on Friday, March 13th.
*Movie "Marley and Me" on March 15th.
*Bring at least $2 for TNB as soon as you can.
*Assembly on Friday March 20th.
*Report Cards will go home around March 24th.
*Parent-Teacher Interviews on the evening of March 26th and the morning of March 27th. (No school for students on March 27th).
*TNB on March 31st.
