It was wonderful today to hear so many great speeches, and I can't wait for those of you who will share your speeches tomorrow. Remember this is a SPEECH, and not just a story you are reading. Try to say as much as you can from memory, and make eye-contact with your audience. Everyone must do a speech in class, then on Friday a few students will have the opportunity to present their speeches on the stage at 1:20pm.
Grade 1 Homework:
*Read a book each night.
*Practice spelling words: away, could, going, make, because, white, black, green, blue, orange.
*Finish homework duotang by Friday.
*Have a speech ready to present on Monday or Tuesday.
*Bring your Day 100 project by Friday.
