With September weather so unpredictable, please feel free to dress your child in layers or send a different change of clothes - sometimes it starts cool in the mornings and then turns hot in the afternoons, and other times the opposite happens.
Grade Two homework:
*Read a book or chapter each night and record in Reading Log.
*Practice spelling words for a test on Friday (we, run, a, can, play, I day, back, sack, black).
*Finish homework duotang by Friday (you can pass it in early if you finish early).
Upcoming Events:
*Reading Buddies starts on Friday for our grade two class.
*The community Terry Fox Run is on Sunday, September 18th, and the school will also be having a Terry Fox Run on Thrusday, September 22nd at 1:05pm.
*There is no school for students on September 23rd - it is a school improvement day where we will be meeting together to work on the goals for our school for this year.
*Clifford will be coming to visit the library on September 27th to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our community library.
*We will have an assembly on September 30th at 1:20pm.
