Kindergarten Homework:
*Read a book each night and practice tricky words (other, were, because)
*Homework writing books will be coming home this week. Please say (dictate) the words for your child to write down in the little books. Try not to tell them the actual letters, but feel free to stretch the words out and say the sounds.
*Finish homework duotang and game by Thursday.
*Return library book by Monday.

*Book Order due on May 1st.
*Subject Council on May 3rd, so no school for students.
*GMTA meeting and Professional Development on May 6th, so no school for students.
*Curriculum Night on May 8th from 6-7pm. Come on out with your children and explore some of the things they have been working on. The preK children will be invited to this event as well.
*Laurie Murison will come to talk to us about whales on May 10th at 9am.
*May 20th is a holiday for Victoria Day.
*Show and Tell on May 22 at 10:50am.
*Assemlby on May 31 at 1:10pm.
