Happy Birthday this week to Jaykell!
Kindergarten Homework:
*Finish homework duotang and game by Friday.
*Read a book every night. This week, we are starting "Homework Writing Books", which will replace the word bags. An adult reads the words, and the child tries to write down the sounds in the word (just like the dictation we do in school).
*Practice sounds and tricky words (little, down, on)
Reading Club:
*Read the book/story that comes home on Monday and/or Tuedsay. Please return any books and duotangs each day, as we need them for the next lesson.
Upcoming Events:
*GMCS Cinema presents "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" Saturday, March 20th at 7pm. Admission $5.
*Assembly on March 26th at 1:20pm.
*Report Cards will go home on March 29th or 30th.
*Parent-Teacher Interviews on the evening of March 31st, and the morning of April 1st.
*No school for students April 1, 2 and 5 (So the students have a five day weekend for Easter).
